The Voices Behind Life in the Front Office



Claire spent 30 years with  the Los Angeles Dodgers’ front office advancing from publicity director to Executive Vice President and general manager with responsibility for player personnel decisions and baseball operations. Claire served the team as a publicity director; vice president of public relations, promotions and marketing; Executive Vice President in charge of day-to-day operations; and Executive Vice President and general manager in charge of player personnel.

Andy Dolich


Dolich has over five decades of leadership in the sports industry including executive positions in the NFL, NBA, MLB and NHL. He was Executive Vice-President of the Oakland A’s during their run of success in the 1980’s and 90’s, President of Business Operations for the Golden State Warriors and Memphis Grizzlies, and COO of the San Francisco 49ers. He has held business operations positions in the NHL (Washington Capitals), soccer (NASL), pro lacrosse and collegiate sports marketing with IMG College.

Pat Gallagher


Gallagher is a pioneer in the sports, entertainment and visitor industries, and played a key role in the success of the landmark Super Bowl 50. He is one of the longest serving and most influential executives in San Francisco Giants’ history, having spent over 30 year career with the franchise. As the team’s first Director of Marketing, his memorable marketing campaigns to sell cold and windy Candlestick Park in the 1980’s and his contributions as SVP of Business Operations in the 1990’s and beyond helped re-invigorate the franchise.




Hirshman currently works at Learfield-IMG College as Manager of Partnership Services for Purdue Athletics. Prior to Learfield, he worked for MLB with the Arizona Fall League, the Seattle Mariners, the Arizona Diamondbacks, the Rose Bowl, the Ontario Reign, and the Inland Empire 66ers. A former collegiate baseball player, Hirshman was a pitcher at the University of Redlands and Ohio University. He earned a Bachelors in Business Administration from the University of Redlands, and a Masters in Sports Administration and a Masters in Sport Science from Ohio University. In addition to hosting Life in the Front Office, he co-authored “20 Secrets to Success for NCAA Student-Athletes Who Won’t Go Pro.”
